#ScienceNOTSilence : A March For Science 4.22.17

What do we want? EVIDENCE-BASED SCIENCE!

When do we want it? AFTER PEER REVIEW!!

On April 22, 2017, members of the research community, advocates, students, and locals joined together to March for Science.

Thousands of people filled downtown’s City Hall this past Saturday to recognize Earth Day and to convey the importance of keeping science free from political obstruction.

Marchers were led by an invigorating marching band ~15 blocks from Philly’s City Hall to Penn’s Landing.
