African Cuisine in PHILLY: Kilimandjaro a taste of Senegal

So right here in University City is one of the best African Cuisine restaurants in the city.

Kilimandjaro’s (sometimes spelled with the “D”) food is poppin.

I order the chicken dinner (three medium sized chicken thighs covered in sautéed onions w/ veggie fried rice) & plantains (although they’re also known for their grilled lamb) and I received a ton of food for only $18. I could’ve fed at least three people but being the greedy girl I am, I ate it all for lunch/dinner.

If you’re around, check them out.

They have a nice dine in area that is very modern, clean, and the staff are extremely friendly and pleasant.

I look forward to going back.
